Satori Notes for February 27, 2009

If you want your child to attend the Satori Spring Break Camp from March 16 to March 20, 2009, please notify me as soon as possible and fill out a registration form.  Registration is due by Monday, March 2, and the $100 fee is due by Friday March 13.  We need at least 6 students to enroll in order to offer the camp.  We still have a couple of spaces available so let me know now so we can make decisions regarding the camp.

Monday, March 2, 2009, is the fourth scheduled Report Card Day.  That is your opportunity to receive information on your child’s most recent progress.  If you desire a conference, please schedule one with the teacher.  The next date for school wide parent conferences is April 20, 2002.

Tomorrow, Saturday, February 28, 2009, is our first parent work day for this semester.  We will work from 9:00 to 1:00.  Next Saturday, March 7, will also be a work day if you can not help tomorrow.  The jobs needed to be done are posted on the front office window.  They are listed by classroom and area of the school.  Do remember to sign off on what you complete so that you will get credit for your volunteer time.  Thanks in advance for you help.

Tuesday, March 3, 2009, the BBQ Committee will meet in the art room at 5:30 pm.  Please let me know by email or note if you have information to share but are not able to meet with us that day.  Our time is growing short and we need to set some deadlines for ourselves.  Remember, every parent should be signed up for a BBQ Sub-Committee.

The Parent Board meeting on Thursday, March 5, at 6:00 is a very important one. We will be making decisions about repairs to the roof and tuition. Please be sure to attend.
