Updated: Satori School recognized by Galveston City Council!

The Satori bird graphicOn May 26, 2011, the students and teachers from Satori walked over to City Hall and received a Certificate of Recognition from Galveston City Council! The Mayor and Council recognized Satori for being selected as the Texas Primary Level School of the Year and the Primary School of the Year at the National Level by the National Energy Education Development Project (NEED)!

Summer Fun at Satori!

The SunThe Satori Fun Summer Camp for K thru 6 begins on June 6, 2011, and runs through August 12, 2011. The hours for planned activities are 9:00 am to 4:00 pm. Supervision is provided from 7:30 am to 5:30 pm for the convenience of working parents who need the extended hours. The cost to attendees is $500 monthly/$175 weekly/15% discount for siblings/$25 per week for both early drop off and late pick up.

Specific themes are planned for each week and parents will receive a weekly schedule outlining the daily schedules, theme, walks, and field trips. Daily activities will center around play indoors and outdoors, imagination, creativity, idea development, and light academic review led off by the morning teacher, Angelica Jimenez.
